A true haven of peace on the banks of the Canal du Midi

The Residence du Chateau de Jouarres is located halfway between the city of Carcassonne and the beaches of the Mediterranean. Located in a private 5-hectare park between vineyards and the Canal du Midi, it comprises 90 spacious and very comfortable self-catering apartments, ranging from studios suitable for 2/4 people to T4 size apartments capable of accommodating up 8 people. The outdoor swimming pool allows complete relaxation, for a calm and pleasant holiday.

Take advantage of your stay to discover the Cathar castles of Lastours, the medieval towns of Caunes Minervois, Minerve or the chasm of Cabrespine. Alternatively, discover the local wines, such as Minervois, the benefits of olive oil and cassoulet (a popular local dish).

If you are a lover of nature, you can climb to the Pic du Nore, hike in the gorges of the Cesse, go sailing on the Jouarres lake or take a bike ride along the Canal du Midi.

The Residence will operate from 2 April to 7 November 2022, as a vacation rental (apartment only) or in "hotel nights" mode.

In a natural setting, less than 2km away, enjoy the beach and the pine forest. Swimming and water sports are on the program.

We spent 10 days as a family. The apartments are large, clean and well equipped, the residence is quiet and well maintained. We had beautiful walks along the nearby Canal du Midi and the nearby lake is pleasant for swimming and water sports. Very beautiful region to discover, we will return without hesitation.

The accommodations are all very well equipped, functional and very clean, bedding included, which is very significant and our first criterai of choice for our stays. A stay as we like them that is only due to the benevolence of the whole team and their involvement. Looking forward for next time !

Stop for one night during our bike ride along the Canal du Midi. Very nice welcome, very clean apartment and common area. The setting (in the middle of the vineyards) makes you want to stay there a little longer. An address to keep
